Google just killed off its debit card for Wallet

Ever since Android Pay launched, Google Wallet has been something of a second class citizen. Now Wallet is losing one of its features: Google is killing the physical Wallet Card. For those not familiar, the Wallet Card allowed you to use your Wallet balance at regular retail outlets – it’s basically a glorified debit card. But since Google Wallet has now transitioned to being a money-transfer service like Venmo To be clear, Google isn’t just disabling any new Wallet Card orders; users won’t be able to add money to their Wallet Balance after May 1, and the cards will stop working on June…
